Youth Initiatives

The Youth and Community Initiatives Support Program has successfully implemented over 1,000 community initiatives across Palestine, benefiting more than 450,000 people, including youth, women, and individuals with disabilities. These efforts have been driven by 800 dedicated volunteers and focus on addressing critical needs in various areas.

 

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Health and Sanitation
    • Providing clean drinking water and sanitation facilities.
    • Building health infrastructure and conducting awareness campaigns on disease prevention.
  2. Support for Displaced Communities
    • Rehabilitation of camps and improving infrastructure.
    • Enhancing safety with lighting and essential services.
  3. Cultural Heritage Preservation
    • Olive picking events and embroidery workshops to preserve traditions and empower women.
  4. Advocacy and Resilience
    • Raising awareness of the needs of displaced communities.
    • Promoting psychosocial resilience through community support initiatives.
  5. Empowering Women
  • Offering embroidery courses and creating small businesses.Health Awareness:
  • Focusing on polio, skin disease, breastfeeding, and reproductive health.

     6. Psychological Support:

  • Providing art and play therapy for children.

     7- Workshops:

  • Covering rights awareness, volunteerism during crises, and gender role transformations.
