“Artistic Reflections” Initiative
The initiative supports emerging artists, develops their skills, and enables them to use the visual arts to document Palestinian historical and cultural sites and express their identity and memory.
It organises artistic field visits to historic locations and old towns, including the old cities of Nablus and Hebron, Hisham’s Palace in Jericho, the village of Battir, and other Palestinian heritage sites.
Artists explore the architecture, stories, details, and social memory of these places and reinterpret them through paintings and contemporary artworks. The initiative also provides opportunities for training, production, and exhibition and organises cultural events through which young artists can present their work to the public.
