Visiting Palestine’s Historic Maqams

The initiative organises educational visits and tours to historic and religious maqams across Palestinian cities, villages, and towns. It introduces participants to their history, architecture, stories, rituals, and associated popular seasons.

Young people participate in field research, collect oral testimonies, photographs, and historical information, document the architectural condition of the sites, and produce written, visual, and digital materials. The initiative strengthens awareness of the need to preserve these landmarks and safeguard their religious, historical, and cultural value.
