“Arches of Palestine” Initiative

The initiative documents architectural arches found in historic Palestinian homes and buildings, highlighting their artistic and engineering value and their significance as evidence of the development and distinctive character of local architecture.

Young people photograph the arches, collect information and stories about the buildings in which they are found, and create a visual and digital archive. This work raises awareness of the importance of safeguarding Palestinian architectural heritage and preserving historic buildings.
