Palestinian Henna Initiative

The initiative revives the traditions of the Palestinian henna night and the wedding customs associated with it, including songs, chants, traditional dress, dabke, and inherited social practices.

It documents the diversity of henna customs across Palestinian cities, villages, and regions and enables young people to revive and reinterpret this heritage in contemporary ways that preserve its authenticity and social significance.
