Palestinian Thobe Initiative

The initiative celebrates the Palestinian thobe as a national symbol and a visual record reflecting the history and regional diversity of Palestinian society. It introduces young people to the meanings of its colours, motifs, and embroidery techniques, as well as the distinctive garments associated with different Palestinian cities and villages.

It also documents traditional dresses and their stories, supports women artisans and local initiatives, and presents this heritage through creative approaches that preserve its authenticity and transmit it to future generations.
