From Ideas to the Screen… “Majd Journey” Turns Creativity into Films

As part of the “Majd Journey” program activities, Sharek Youth Forum, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, organized the “Majd Journey” Film Festival, featuring 22 adolescents who produced 22 short films.

During the festival, participants and attendees watched films that reflected the adolescents’ ideas and transformed what they learned throughout the training experience into creative works using modern artistic and technological tools.

The films were produced by participants from Dura, Tarqumiyah, Beit ‘Anan, Al-Jib, Jericho, Beit Liqya, Deir Ghassana, Deir Abu Mash’al, and Ni’lin.

At the end of the festival, the four winning films were announced. “The Blue World” by Sham Radwan won first place, followed by “Tomorrow’s Door” by Saba Munif in second place. “Departure” by Mohammad Haitham took third place, while “Sawi” by Abdul Hayy Radwan received the joint third-place award.

All participants were also honored in recognition of their efforts, creativity, and contributions to producing the films.

Through “Majd Journey,” adolescents continue to turn their ideas and stories into creative works that express their perspectives and provide opportunities to explore their potential in art and technology.
