“Tamayyaz Aal Akher” Podcast: A Youth Initiative Addressing Legal Issues and Public Affairs
Firas Mazhar, a volunteer at Sharek Youth Forum, launched the “Tamayyaz Aal Akher” podcast to provide accessible legal content addressing issues that affect citizens’ daily lives, while promoting legal awareness and public dialogue.
The podcast sheds light on the Palestinian justice and court system and explores key challenges, including overcrowded courts, case backlogs, lengthy litigation procedures, and their impact on citizens’ rights and access to justice.
It hosts legal experts, judges, lawyers, and representatives of governmental and civil society institutions to present different perspectives, examine the causes of existing challenges, and propose practical solutions and recommendations that could improve judicial services and strengthen public confidence in the justice system.
The initiative brings legal issues closer to the public through clear and accessible language. It also creates a space for dialogue among citizens, experts, and decision-makers, promotes social accountability, and encourages young people to engage actively in public affairs.
The “Tamayyaz Aal Akher” podcast is a youth-led initiative that uses digital media to serve the community. It transforms specialized legal knowledge into accessible content that helps citizens understand their rights and brings justice-related issues into public discussion in a professional and objective manner.
