Preparing Facilitators to Address Violence Cases in the Field – Gaza

Preparing Facilitators to Address Violence Cases in the Field – Gaza

This initiative was implemented in Gaza with the participation of 20 facilitators, aiming to strengthen their capacities in responding to violence cases in field settings, particularly in emergency contexts.

The initiative included a specialized training session facilitated by Dr. Moneim Al-Tahrawi, which covered key concepts related to violence, its different types and forms, and appropriate mechanisms for field-based response and intervention.

The training sought to enhance participants’ understanding of professional and sensitive approaches when dealing with violence cases, while building their practical skills to ensure effective, ethical, and context-appropriate responses during fieldwork.

Through this initiative, facilitators were empowered to better identify, assess, and respond to cases of violence in a way that promotes safety, protection, and dignity for affected individuals in emergency situations.
