The National Campaign "Generation of Craft"

Generation of Craft (Jeel Al-Herfeh)
A National Campaign to Promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Palestine

The “Generation Craft” campaign was launched under the patronage of the Palestinian Ministry of Labour, in partnership with the Sharek Youth Forum and its Partners Alliance, with strategic support from the European Union. The campaign aims to position Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a smart, future-oriented pathway for Palestinian youth.

Launched in Jericho on July 15, 2026, the campaign carries the slogan:
“Be Smart, Be Skilled, Be Part of Generation Craft… A Generation that Makes a Difference.”

“Generation Craft” seeks to challenge societal stereotypes around vocational education and highlight its role as a viable pathway to employment, entrepreneurship, and economic independence. The campaign showcases inspiring success stories of young men and women who have transformed their skills into productive careers and small businesses.

It also promotes hands-on training opportunities and strengthens alignment between training outcomes and labor market needs, contributing to youth empowerment and local economic development.

More than a campaign, Generation Craft is a call to action—encouraging young people to believe in their potential, pursue skilled professions, and actively shape a more innovative and resilient future.
