Sharek Youth Forum Chosen as a “Home for Humanity” in Palestine within the Global "Homes for Humanity" Initiative

Sharek Youth Forum proudly announces its selection as a “Home for Humanity” within the global Homes for Humanity network, in recognition of its humanitarian and community role in supporting youth, promoting the values of participation, and building active civic and human-centered spaces in Palestine.

Homes for Humanity is a global network that brings together initiatives, institutions, and communities from around the world, working to promote peace, solidarity, and sustainability while building inclusive human communities that support human well-being and all forms of life on Earth.

This international recognition marks the culmination of a long journey of youth and community work led by the Forum for over 25 years of excellence, through initiatives and programs aimed at empowering the Palestinian people and promoting the values of solidarity, justice, sustainability, and community innovation.

Sharek Youth Forum emphasized that this designation is not merely an honor for the Forum itself, but also a recognition of Palestinian youth, national partners, and the civic spaces that continue to work for life, dignity, and humanity despite the challenges, violations, and difficult conditions experienced in Palestine.

The Forum noted that the “Youth Village” has represented a living model of the “Homes for Humanity” concept, serving as a space that brings together youth, culture, volunteerism, dialogue, learning, nature, and both national and human belonging.

The Forum added that joining this global network opens new horizons for international cooperation, the exchange of expertise, and strengthening the global presence of the Palestinian experience as a model of resilience and humanitarian and community action.

In this context, Sharek Youth Forum renewed its commitment to continuing its mission of building safe and inspiring spaces for youth and strengthening their role in driving positive change, based on the belief that true investment begins with people.
