Located in Fufr Nima a central village that connects several surrounding marginalized communities, the Palestinian Child Club in Kufr Ni’ma serves as one of the core GirlZone sites, currently engaging 75 adolescent girls aged 12–17. The center was selected for its strong community engagement, supportive local environment, and the active involvement of families and local institutions.
Fully equipped and ready to host GirlZone activities, the center has demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring the program’s continuity and long-term sustainability. Its strategic location enables outreach to nearby rural areas, allowing girls from neighboring villages to participate in a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment that encourages learning, creativity, and self-expression.
As part of the program’s implementation, the GirlZone space in Kufr Ni’ma was rehabilitated and furnished to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The upgrades included painting, installing new furniture, and providing educational and recreational materials that support both learning and emotional well-being. These improvements transformed the room into a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment — a space where girls feel motivated, protected, and inspired to explore their potential.
The Kufr Ni’ma site has also become a model of collaboration between Sharek Youth Forum, community leaders, and local volunteers — showcasing how collective effort can create lasting impact and empower girls to grow with confidence and purpose.
