Jabal Al-Nar Center - Nablus

Perched in the heart of Nablus, Jabal Al-Nar Center provides a dynamic and inclusive setting for adolescent girls from both urban and surrounding communities. The center currently engages 75 girls aged 12–17, divided into three active learning groups, who participate in a series of interactive sessions focusing on holistic health, leadership, and self-expression.

Chosen for its accessibility, vibrant youth presence, and openness to innovation, Jabal Al-Nar serves as an ideal site to pilot and expand GirlZone’s empowerment model in the northern region. The dedicated GirlZone room was rehabilitated and creatively designed, featuring new furniture, bright colors, and learning materials that foster communication, confidence, and collaboration among participants.

All sessions are led by an all-female team — a coordinator, assistant coordinator, and local trainers — ensuring that activities take place in an atmosphere of comfort, trust, and cultural sensitivity. The center has quickly evolved into a lively hub for dialogue, creativity, and community engagement, where girls are inspired to lead and become active contributors to social change.
