Sharek Youth Forum – Palestine

1/9/2025 – The Sharek Youth Forum calls upon the Palestinian government, international organizations, the private sector, and grassroots initiatives to urgently intervene in support of villages, towns, camps, and communities that are facing ongoing incursions and violent attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers.

The Forum emphasizes that these local communities are currently facing a humanitarian catastrophe that necessitates an immediate response to provide the essentials for resilience—starting with emergency relief for affected families and extending to sustainable development projects that safeguard people’s right to a dignified life on their own land.

These systematic assaults have not only destroyed infrastructure and property but have also deeply impacted human lives, creating dire conditions that threaten the very fabric of society. This makes the consolidation of national and international efforts an urgent necessity rather than a choice.

The Forum emphasizes that supporting these communities is a national, moral, and humanitarian duty, and that genuine solidarity must be measured by action on the ground rather than statements. It therefore calls on all actors to assume their responsibilities, activate the role of youth councils and community committees, and translate support into concrete steps that preserve people’s dignity and affirm their right to remain on their land.
