Visit the Jordan Valley
Sharek Youth Forum launched the "Visit the Jordan Valley" campaign, which included various programs, activities, and events in collaboration with the Jericho and Jordan Valley Governorate, Jericho Municipality, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Al-Quds Open University, Al-Istiqlal University, the Al-Qamar Charitable Association, the Farmers Union, the Youth Council, and local councils in the villages of Jiftlik, Zbeidat, and Fasayil.
This initiative included a race in solidarity with the people of the Jordan Valley, with the participation of 400 Palestinians and nearly 150 international solidarity activists. The race began in Ain Al-Auja, passed through the village of Al-Auja, reached Fasayil, and concluded in Jiftlik.
During the event, seven young people were injured, with three of them being transferred to Jericho Government Hospital with moderate injuries after being attacked by Israeli soldiers using rifles. Additionally, two international activists were detained for two hours.
