Press Release

Escalation of Settler Attacks on Youth Village in Kafr Ni’ma for the Eighth Consecutive Month

The management of the Youth Village in Kafr Ni’ma expresses deep regret and strong condemnation of the ongoing violent assaults on the village by settlers. Recent days have seen a dangerous escalation in the damage inflicted on the village’s facilities and infrastructure.

Details of the Recent Attacks:

• Destruction of Facilities: Vital village facilities are continuously vandalized and deliberately damaged.

• Theft of the Main Gate: The removal and theft of the main gate highlight the severe risk facing the village.

• Sabotage of Water Networks: Water lines have been dismantled, and tanks and washbasins damaged.

• Damage to Solar Panels and Lights: Solar panels have been broken, and cables cut.

We, at the Youth Village, express profound regret for these violations, which target not only the village but also its youth and children, resulting in the suspension of activities. Furthermore, there has been a series of thefts, continuous breaking of glass, cutting of power cables, and ongoing intrusions into all facilities, leading to inspections and vandalism.

We call on the concerned authorities to take immediate action to stop these attacks and bring the perpetrators to justice. We also urge the international community to intervene and protect the rights of our youth and children to live safely and peacefully in their village.
